Danny Hustle is a bi-coastal rapper and entrepreneur who divides his time between New England, based in Vermont, deep in the Northeast Kingdom, and Northern California, where he owns a licensed award winning Cannabis Farm in Southern Humboldt county, in heart of the famed Emerald Triangle region, and has lived and based himself out of the Bay Area, where he frequently records in San Francisco.

A life long Cannabis enthusiast, grower, breeder, dealer, educator, activist, he started selling weed at 13 and is the owner, founder, and CEO of Rebel Grown, a world renowned award-winning genetics company and cannabis brand based in Humboldt county California, and Vermont, where he owns and operates state licensed farms on both coasts, as well as partnerships representing his brand & genetics in other markets.

Born Daniel Jonas Pomerantz in Malden, Massachusetts, originally from the Boston area, he started freestyling in cyphers, smoking blunts at 15, and soon started writing rhymes. By the early 2000s, he was building a reputation as a dominant battle rapper and freestyle artist in Boston. 

At the time, while pursuing a career in both illegally selling weed and being a hip hop artist, he decided he had better chances in the illicit marijuana business, and that publicly pursuing music increased his risk and liability of criminal charges, indictments, and robberies.

He went underground and spent years as a grower and dealer, but continued to work on music, rapping, writing, and recording.

Years later, as an entrepreneur and legal business owner, he decided it was time to share his music and his story.

He spent much of his time during COVID in 2020 and 2021 organizing his music catalogue and regularly writing and working with a group of producers.

He released his music debut in 2024, the EP Danny Hustle - Rebel Grown Mixtape Vol. 1, produced by Taso (Teklife)

He’s working several notable producers, Nastee (Mob Deep, Pig Pun, Dead Prez, ODB, Joey Bada$$) , Taso (Teklife), Oliver Basil (NBA YoungBoy, Rod Wave), and Salam Wreck (Warren G, Obie Trice), and has recently preformed opening for artists such as Inspectah Deck (Wu Tang), Cappaddonna (Wu Tang), Lyrics Born, The Grouch and Eligh, Chali2na, The GZA (Wu Tang), Onyx, Berner, Nice & Smooth, MC Search, and The Pharcyde.
